On this page I am showing the written feedback that we received after showing our video to people of our target audience as well as fellow media students in our class. We gave them each one bit of paper so that they could write positives and negatives of the video as they were watching it but we also asked them to reflect on the video afterwards and see how they felt about the link between the video and the genre and if these two things complemented each other resulting in a realistic looking video for this genre. Overall we found this extremely helpful as the media students were aware of the conventions of a music video and their experience with the editing and filming process made their opinion invaluable. Furthermore, our target audience knew firsthand what to expect in a music video of their favourite genre and so we were able to use what they wanted and felt was necessary to include in order to produce a realistic Alternative rock video.
