Once we had presented our pitch to our teacher she said that the song choice was very good as it gave us the opportunity to blend all of the different sounds from the instruments in with a range of camera shots and angles. Also it would allow us to incorporate an aspect of a narrative within our video as this is similarly depicted in other Alternative rock and Imagine Dragons videos. However she then went on to say that despite the good choice of song there were some issues involving the clothing, location and band members. When discussing the clothing she said that we would need to incorporate more of the actual clothing we would expect to use in our video within our pitch to give a better showcase of the elements of our video. In terms of the location she said that the lighting would be an issue in our suggested location as it would be hard to keep a consistent light across all the shots from the video and also due to the changing of the season it would be much more difficult to be able to shoot in this location as it doesn't have a roof as well as too much natural light being on the location which would result in poor camera quality. Finally in terms of the actors she said that the suggested vocalist of Sam Gale may not be appropriate for the role as there is a chance he may not match the voice of Dan Reynolds(Lead singer of Imagine Dragons) and it would therefore effect the overall authenticity and realism of the video and so we would need to do a practice shoot where we film Sam singing the song and we will play it back and see if he is able to fit the voice we require.
