Editing is a totally crucial stage of the construction process due to the fact that you could have the best equipment, actors and actual footage but if it is not put together in a way that makes your target audience able to relate to the song, then it means the video is not going to work. During the actual constructing process you need to be able to actually put the clips together so that all the shots match the section of the song as well as ensuring that the cut transitions help reflect the speed of the music. It may also include adding effects afterwards, for example changing the lighting to as you would in our case possibly make the scene darker to reflect the dark nature of alternative rock.
