Band Members
Below I am showing the band members that we will be using during the rough cut filming. After we have filmed we will see whether they fit the role well and then decided after if we need to rethink the members. We have selected each one of these people for the role as both James' play the guitar which adds a realistic and authentic feel to the video as they will be playing the actual song. We also chose all 4 members as they all looked older which once more adds to the realism of the video as they fit the genre much better in being more mature.
After the rough cut we decided to change some of the band members. We kept Matt as we felt that he was brilliant in the realism of the performance and he really captured the voice of Dan Reynolds very well which added massively to the video. We also kept James as once again due to his ability to play the guitar he really added to the authenticity of it as a whole. However we changed myself as well as Joe due to the fact that Joe was unavailable as he was away. I was deselected because I didn't produce a performance which really gave a realistic feel to the video. Therefore Joe's replacement on guitar is Andrew who's older appearance links very well to the impression we are trying to create. My replacement on drums is Ryan as he looks more mature and by taking me off the drums it allows our team to focus much more on the filming and by having an extra person to help film will in theory help us to produce a more polished finished piece.
