In order to create a successful and authentic looking music video of our chosen genre we needed to ensure that we had suitable audience feedback as it would prove to be priceless in going forward and re-filming. Asking people from our target audience was massively important as they would be fully aware of what makes a successful Alternative Rock video and so they would be best placed to be able to suggest possible improvements in order to make it as realistic as possible. Before we filmed the rough cut we had researched into what the conventions of an Alternative Rock video were and so we had a generally competent understanding of clothing, setting, camera shots as well as the other elements but it was clear from our finished rough cut that some of these features didn't link very well to the genre and so by having these things pointed out by our target audience we were able to get a better insight as to what they wanted to see and this allowed to improve vastly from the rough cut in our final cut.

Shown above is our rough cut video and we played this for a group of people in our class as well as several people from our target audience and we gained the following feedback which we would have to look to use in order to enhance the realism of the video.
